IT Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-6 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, overseeing project management, and maintaining applications. This role requires a proactive leader who can ensure the smooth operation of our IT systems and support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Infrastructure Management:

  - Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems.

  - Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of IT infrastructure to support business operations.

  - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.

Project Management:

  - Lead and manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.

  - Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation.

Application Maintenance:

  - Oversee the maintenance and support of business applications, ensuring they are up-to-date and functioning optimally.

  - Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve application issues and implement updates.

  - Conduct regular assessments and improvements to enhance application performance and user experience.

Team Leadership:

  - Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, providing guidance and support to foster their development.

  - Conduct performance evaluations and identify training needs to ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills.

Compliance and Security:

  - Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data protection and cybersecurity.

  - Implement and maintain security protocols to safeguard company data and IT assets.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 5-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, project management, and application maintenance.

- Strong knowledge of network and server management, virtualization, and cloud technologies.

- Proven experience in leading IT projects and managing cross-functional teams.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or relevant technical certifications.

- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools and practices.

- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations
