The roles and responsibilities of the recruiter will be to,
Determine staffing needs: Assess the scope of work and necessary skills when determining the staffing needs for a company.
Create systematic recruitment strategies: Create efficient systems for finding the best candidates.
Screen resumes and applications: Filter, tag and sort candidates and match them to client or company needs.
Perform candidate interviews: Interview’s candidates to better understand their potential and their specific aspirations.
Coordinate company interviews: Manages the details of interviews between candidates and company representatives.
Attend job fairs and hiring events: Recruiters frequent these events to find potential candidates for a client or company.
Act as a communication channel: Helps facilitate effective communication between candidates and companies.
Manage background checks: To ensure a candidate is best for the position, perform background or reference checks for candidates.
Track staffing information: By gathering and storing data about candidates and companies, improve their performance and provide information to their clients.
Secondary Responsibilities include,
Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
Requirements and Skillset
Proven work experience as a Recruiter
Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews
Hands on experience with various selection processes
Ability to organize skills assessment
Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and Candidate Management Systems
Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems or Human Resource Management Systems
